A celebration of Aidan Connor-Hull's life

The funeral of Aidan Connor-Hull will take place on Friday 6th September, at 11.00am at St Peter in the Forest, 18 Woodford New Road, London E17 3PP. Please aim to arrive by 10.45am. The service will incorporate both Christian and secular elements.

We welcome Aidan's family and friends to celebrate his life and mourn his death on this day. The funeral service will be followed by a wake at Peterhouse Community Centre, 122 Forest Rise, E17 3PW. This is a short walk from the church. Pizza, beer and other cold drinks will be available including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options.

Please travel by public transport if you are able, as there are limited parking options. The nearest station is Wood Street, on the Overground Line from Liverpool Street to Chingford, with trains every 15 minutes. The Victoria Line at Walthamstow Central connects to the Overground or bus. The church is a ten minute walk up hill from Wood Street Station, turn left out of the station, and walk via pavements and a tarmac path. The last part of the walk is through Epping Forest, some friends will be available to direct you. There is also the number 20 bus which runs from Walthamstow Central bus station to a stop which is less than 200m from the churchyard entrance on the A1400. This service runs every 15 minutes or so, and the journey takes 20 minutes. Buses leave Walthamstow, towards Debden, at 10:13 and 10:27 weekdays.

There is limited on street parking for Blue Badge holders only within 5 minutes walk of the church, on Forest Rise and Upper Walthamstow Road, both are in CPZ’s. There may be a few parking spaces at Peterhouse Community Centre, please contact Jane or Rob to enquire. Alternatively there is paid for parking (maximum of 3 hours) at the off street car parks on Linford Road and Brandon Road, E17 close to Wood Street Station. There may be secure cycle parking at Peterhouse.

The dress code is smart casual, with a touch of colour if desired. No black ties please.

There will be a single family floral tribute. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Kith & Kids, the learning disability organisation that supported Aidan and our family, and which created a loving circle of friends around Aidan. You can donate directly to this year's Rise and Shine campaign https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/riseandshine or by sponsoring Sophia Skyers who is running the London Vitality 10k for Kith & Kids in Aidan's memory at https://www.justgiving.com/page/sophiaskyerslondonvitality10kforaidanconnor-hull

If you intend to come, please let Jane or Rob know via WhatsApp or text. If you have mobility or access needs, please also let Jane and Rob know in advance so seating can be reserved. It is highly likely that some mourners will need to stand during the service, so we want to ensure those that need a seat, alongside close family, get a seat.

Thank you for all the cards and expressions of sympathy we have received, we are sad beyond words at Aidan's passing, which was peaceful, but far, far too soon.

Jane, Rob and Alfie
